I read the book "Conversations with God" and tried it, too. That's what happened:

God: What did you do with your life?

I: I always did what others wanted me to.

God: And were are your own talents and experiences?

I: Äh... I lived the lives of others.

God: Aha?! You always live in others. Why?

I: I thought I have to help them. Isn't that what loving others is all about?

God: You may have increased the wealth of others but where is your own wealth?

I: But isn't selflove a sin? Isn't it egotistical?

God: Isn't it a sin to belief you are less then others? Don't you deny me and you with that? Do you really belief I'm that cruel to          give you a life where you are nothing?

I: Tell me what selflove is and that it is important. Help me to understand - with AHA - fast!
